A GERMAN BAYONET FOR THE K89k MAUSER SPURIOUSLY ETCHED FOR THE SS LIEBSTANDARTE, 1940s with later etching, 10 in. double-edged nickel-steel blade etched with '1 SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler' on one side and 'Meine Ehre heist Treue' and swastika over, ricasso maker-marked '42 fnj', nickelled hilt with wooden grips, pommel with Waffenamt stamps and etched with SS runes and the Liebstandarte skeleton key symbol, together with a black steel scabbard with reduced frog stud with the front surface nickelled, numbered '388' and maker-marked '44 asw', some rust patches to the nickeling on the hilt, an interesting post-war fantasy piece
